My Story
I obtained a Master’s degree in counseling from Western Michigan University in 2007 and traveled the country as a social worker before becoming a therapist. I’ve always been drawn to understanding people, what shapes us, what heals us, and how we find meaning. Before pursuing licensure, I spent years exploring creativity and connection through writing, music, and art, all of which continue to inspire healing.
Outside of my work, I love traveling, exploring new places, and taking long drives to clear my mind. I am equally at home with my dog, cat and partner; writing, reading, painting or playing guitar and piano.

My path to becoming a therapist grew from personal experiences with hardship, neurodivergence and the deep belief that we all have the capacity to heal and rebuild after loss, trauma, or uncertainty. My goal is to offer a space where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered to reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel most alive and whole.
Additional Trainings Include: Cultural Attunement, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment, ADHD, and Trauma-processing including EMDR and Brainspotting. I also bring experience in exploring community resources available to help you reach your greatest potential, beyond the therapy room.
